All the way, he is pursued by a black-garbed assassin. An ominous feeling crosses SZEMA YEE’s mind when he listens to a tune played by LEUNG on her zither. Disciples of the Green City Sect have come settling scores with him. SZEMA YEE urges LEUNG to leave by night and catches up with her midway through. He seizes the chance to bring her to see fireflies. LEUNG again plays him a tune. FUNG follows the music and tracks down SZEMA YEE. Only then he realizes that the woman has betrayed him. He receives multiple gunshots and plunges down a cliff. FUNG and his men are summoned to the capital. The emperor voices his concern over WONG YEE’s depressed state ever since her entrance to the palace……
